Recognition of prior learning is an assessment process that involves assessment of an
individual’s relevant prior learning (including formal, informal and non-formal learning)
to determine the credit outcomes of an individual application for credit. RPL recognizes
that candidates may have gained knowledge and skills during their previous work
experience (paid or unpaid), in Australia. RPL takes into consideration an
individual’s existing skills and as a means of evaluating whether an individual can
demonstrate the required competencies associated with the relevant Australian
standards. This process is referred to as recognition of prior learning (RPL).
We discuss your goals and help you choose the right qualification that matches your skills and guide you to achieve your goals.
We collect evidence from you such as your current resumé, reference letters, work examples /samples, photos/videos, certificates and transcripts and overseas qualifications.
Once we have assessed your portfolio, we will call you in for a proficiency discussion and a practical observation if required.
